DNA sampling and analysis

DNA recovery can be done in most instances and sent to a verified laboratory in Cape Town.

DNA analysis is needed for verification or exclusion of identification or determination of paternity, and is done discreetly and cost effectively.

DNA analysis can be done with very small samples of Buccal Epithelial Cells (situated in saliva) which may be obtained through mouth swabs or even derived from a toothbrush.  Blood is also an excellent source of DNA and analysis can be done with a very small sample. 

Larger samples are needed for comparison in cases where the only sources of DNA would be in hair or Touch DNA.

Touch DNA is rarely identified due to insufficient material being present.
