Vehicle Decontamination
Vehicles involved in crimes or exposed to corpses resulting from whatever cause can be contaminated with blood, brain tissue and bodily fluids.
These fluids usually seep through the stitching on upholstery and often penetrate carpeting.
Seats and other upholstery usually have to be removed together with carpeting especially if the vehicle has been exposed to contamination for a while or if the vehicle was involved in an unattended death.
Fresh blood in lesser quantities can often be removed from carpeting and sometimes seats.
All panels are removed and wiring also checked thoroughly for any fluids that could have caused contamination and future odours or hazard.
